Warpfire League: Warhammer 40K - Season 1

Join the Warpfire League! We're kicking off our Warhammer 40K: Season 1 on January 24th, and here's the scoop:

The goal of the Warpfire League is to build community, help everyone get better at the game, and most of all to play five fun games of Warhammer 40K. Win or lose, you'll get to meet new people who love the hobby, and get 5 more games under your belt! 

- The regular season will last for 8 weeks and each player will be required to play a total of 5 games over this period.

- Factions are locked, but you may change your lists during the Season as you try things out! For the playoffs both factions and lists will be locked. 

- These will be 2,000 point games, using GW models, and models for The Finals must be battle ready!

- Players will be randomly divided up into Pods at the start, and each of your 5 games will be against other players in your Pod. Pods and opponents will be revealed on January 24th!

- Your 5 games may be played in any order and at any time during the 8 week period! Use our Discord channel to line up your games, you can even play multiple games in the same day. 

- Ideally the games are played here at the shop, but with scheduling in mind you are welcome to play games wherever you can.

- After all 5 games have been played, the winner of each Pod (or potentially top 2 depending on how many signups we get) will make it into The Finals. Finals games must be played at the shop, will be single elimination, and the winner will be crowned the Season Champ! 

- The Season Champ will have their name engraved on the Warpfire Cup, take home some prize support for themselves, and plot twist, also win back the entry fee in store credit for everyone in their Pod!

- That's right, you want to do everything in your power to help your Pod get better at the game, and League players will be welcome to come spectate The Finals to root on their Pod Champion!

- Scores will be reported to the League Channel in our Discord and rankings will be maintained by the TO. 

- Assuming Season 1 goes well, we'll keep the ball rolling and do multiple seasons per year!
